Philadelphia’s renters are facing a crisis.
About half struggled to pay rent even before COVID-19. Now, with 70,000 more Philadelphians out of work since early March, the number could be far worse.
Philadelphia’s COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program helps tenants who have lost income pay their rent. But it only has funds to help about 3,000 renters out of the 40,000 or more who might need it.
You can help keep struggling tenants in their homes. You can make a tax-deductible donation to the Rental Assistance Program. And because the City covers operating costs, every dollar into the program goes to pay rent.
So donate today.
Your donation will be fully tax deductible. And on behalf of Philadelphia’s tenants affected by COVID-19 – thank you!
